3rd  “virtual” Tree & Vine IPM Breakfast Meeting

Greetings,

We will be holding the 3rd  “virtual” Tree & Vine IPM Breakfast Meeting organized by the Stanislaus County UCCE Pomology and IPM Advisors as a part of a webinar series. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, from 7-8 am. In this meeting, we invited guest speaker, Dr. Robert Van Steenwyk, Extension Entomologist Emeritus, UC Berkeley. Dr. Van Steenwyk’s presentation will cover "Managing navel orangeworm, and walnut husk fly" at this meeting.

In addition, we will share updates on current pest management-related topics relevant to growers and pest control advisers. We have requested 1-hour of DPR continuing education credit for the ‘Other’ category. To be eligible for the CE credit, attendees are required to take a quiz at the end and pass with at least 70% correct. Multiple attempts are allowed.

To join this webinar, you need to have the ‘Microsoft Team’ app installed on your smartphone or computer. Please install the app in advance of the meeting.

In addition, we will share updates on current pest management related topics that are relevant to growers and pest control advisers. We have requested 1-hour of DPR continuing education credit for the ‘laws & reg’ category. To be eligible for the CE credit, attendees are required to take quiz at the end and pass with at least 70% correct. Multiple attempts are allowed.

Pesticide Safety Webinars / Seguridad con Pesticidas Webinarios

This webinar series, presented by the UC Integrated Pest Management Program, will provide participants who successfully complete course(s), Continuing Education (CE) units for the 2020 calendar year. Topics include how to find and use PPE during COVID-19, proper use of respirators,
practices for keeping pesticides out of water, and how to properly read and follow a pesticide label.
